The UK BCN Trailblazer Awards are back, this time with headline sponsor Golin Ketchum.
The awards recognise Black individuals and agencies in the UK who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and leadership across the PR, communications, creative industries and beyond.

A professional who has led or spearheaded game-changing campaigns, or initiatives in the last 12 months.
The campaign be in internal comms / external comms / digital / social media or public affairs

A professional under 30 who is a future leader.

An individual working in radio or TV who uses their platform (traditional or social) to convey powerful messages

A campaign or communication that was led by a Black-Owned agency, team or individual in the last 12 months.
Between 1 June 2025 and 1 June 2026.

An outstanding communicator in the public eye, e.g. across media, culture, entertainment, sports, and the creative industries, who has won public hearts and minds

Black led communities, employee resource groups that support, champion or empower Black people

A creative storyteller who produces high-quality, original content, consistent audience engagement, and significant cultural impact

A creative who has positively impacted Black culture in the UK

An outstanding, pioneering marketing communications/PR/digital/social media/PA/internal comms professional who has been instrumental in the industry

An individual or group that uses their podcast to entertain or convey powerful messages.

An individual who has used their influence to drive change and impact via a standout campaign in the last 24 months
Campaign must have been delivered between 1 June 2024 to 1 June 2026.

A professional who is an ambassador for great PR/Comms/PA/Digital/Social and lifts as they climb

For a journalist/author who has demonstrated exceptional clarity, integrity, and impact in their reporting or whose work has had a significant cultural or social impact, showcasing masterful storytelling or exposition.
