Kamiqua Lake | Founder & CEO

Leading the UKBCN strategy and team, Kamiqua Lake established the UK Black Comms Network (UK BCN) in July 2020.

Kamiqua is a senior PR consultant who has led communications for a number of brands and organisations. Kam is the CEO of Coldr, a strategic marketing, PR and communications consultancy, and a Trustee for Marketing, Social and Digital for the RNIB.

Kamiqua is a member of the Industry Advisory Board and an Associate Lecturer at the University of The Arts London (UAL), a qualified coach, a seasoned mentor and is passionate about helping others to reach their potential.

When she’s not working, Kamiqua enjoys family time, reading and planning getaways from this island!

Addy Frederick | Head of Comms

Orchestrating our comms and campaigns, Addy Frederick is our Head of Communications.

An award-winning senior communications specialist, with more than a decade of experience in corporate and consumer communications and reputation management, Addy’s experience includes advising on the financial industry’s response to the Icelandic banking crisis in 2008, to delivering communications on the largest demerger in recent history in her current role at Prudential plc.

Addy sits on the Women in PR UK Committee and won the 2019 PRMoment Suzy Spirit award for her work to improve diversity in the industry. In her spare time, Addy is an avid runner.

Tarita Mullings | Head of Brand & Partnerships

Securing opportunities with brands, organisations and individuals that share our values and can deliver impact for the network, Tarita Mullings is our Head of Partnerships.

With 13 years of experience in consumer PR and content creation, Tarita is currently Director and Board member at The Story and her skills include brand building and strategic global communications.

Outside of work Tarita loves finding new places to eat and drink that her friends and family will love and enjoy, around the UK and beyond!
