Ayshah was part of the 2020 election coverage in America travelling around the country. She reported on a story which made headlines worldwide, on how the Trump campaign marked 40% of black people as “deterrence” that’s voters they wanted to stay home on Election Day.

She previously presented the children’s news programme BBC Newsround from 2013-2018.
